Recap Fieldlab Industrial Electrification meets Storage

Jeroen van Woerden (Strategic Advisor Fieldlab Industrial Electrification gave an introduction about the Fieldlab. Then Marco Kirsenstein (Business Developer Fieldlab Industrial Electrification and FME ) took us further into the applications and opportunities of industrial electrification. Robert de Boer took over and gave us some practical examples and presented an analysis on the possible developments of the future.

Finally, Wouter De Lille (Business Developer Eneco) presented the results of Eneco's research into the opportunities of thermal storage in industrial electrification. This shows that Thermal Storage can double the market potential of electrification.

Direct Carbon Immobilization: recovering primary raw materials with fewer CO2 emissions

How to recover primary raw materials from waste without significant CO2-emissions? The Fieldlab Industrial Electrification has supported Alkmaar-based DOPS Recycling Technologies in the project circular industrial conversion technology for waste and residue streams: Direct Carbon Immobilisation (DCI™). To validate the technology at industrially relevant scale, the Fieldlab Industrial Electrification (FLIE) supported DOPS in the grant application and FLIE acted as project supervisor. Such support is indispensable for a startup.
